MEXICO SKY CHALLENGE

The México Sky Challenge (MSC) arises from the union of two prestigious organizers: Xtrail México and Trail Run Hidalgo. Together, they have organized a competition that allows Sky Running lovers to challenge their limits and enjoy unique experiences in the skies of Mexico.

This competition is not just another race, but one of the 21 world competitions on the circuit Merrell Skyrunner ® World Series, that will take place in 2024 to define the world champion by Sky. It attracts intrepid and fast runners, eager to achieve the distinction of being the best in the world in their discipline.

Each race represents a true test of skill, endurance and bravery. At the Mexico Sky Challenge, we are committed to offering exciting events and promoting Sky culture throughout the country. Join us on this exciting adventure!

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT 35 K

 

  • Mobile phone: with the battery fully charged, roaming activated and on throughout the test.
  • Thermal blanket: minimum surface that covers the body completely.
  • Windbreaker jacket: waterproof and breathable.
  • Whistle: the one with the backpack
  • Bottles, tank or bag (soft flask type) for water or hydrating drinks: with a minimum capacity of 1.5 liters.
  • Glass or container for liquids: at supply points there will be no disposable cups in order to avoid generating garbage ;
  • Competitor’s (dorsal) number: placed visibly, in front and above the clothing throughout the test.
  • Footwear: suitable for running on technical terrain mountain.

Upload the image of your payment receipt to the platform and within a maximum period of 48 hours, your registration will be authorized and you will be registered for the race.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email (don’t forget to check your spam folder) you will be able to download your registration receipt and your digital number from your session in Runnerreg. Remember that the final runner number will be assigned on the day of bib delivery.

IMPORTANT: YOUR PAYMENT IS VALID ONLY FOR 5 DAYS, MAKE IT EFFECTIVE (BY DOING YOUR REGISTRATION) ASAP TO NOT LOSE YOUR PLACE.

TIPS AND STEP BY STEP TO REGISTER


Welcome to the Sky Runner World Series circuit. Since it is an international circuit, all registrations are made on the same site.

Below, we provide you with a step-by-step guide and tips on how to successfully complete your registration and enrollment.

Tips:

  • The registration page is in English. If you prefer to see it in Spanish, we recommend using the Google Chrome browser to translate it with the function found in the upper right corner.
  • If the translation feature is not available there, go to the settings (also located in the upper right corner) and activate the translator in the languages tab.
  • If you plan to pay through Oxxo and not by card, we recommend doing so before registering. The page will save your information and you will have only 24 hours to complete your registration once payment is made.

Step by step:

  1. Enter the page https://runnerreg.com/. Accept cookies for the page to function correctly.
  2. Click on “My Account” in the upper right corner and register your user with your email and password, or if you prefer, through from some social network.
  3. Once registered, go to the “Find a Race” tab. Find our “Mexico Sky Challenge” race and press “Register Now”. Choose your distance (35, 25, 14 or 6 km) and start your registration. Take advantage of the registration stages to get the best possible price.
  4. Complete your career details and profile. Have your official identification or passport on hand to complete registration.
  5. Indicates if someone else will be able to pick up your kit.
  6. Choose your t-shirt size. The official t-shirt of the event will be announced soon.
  7. Choose your payment method (credit card or via Oxxo) and make the payment.
  8. You will receive an email confirming your registration. Go to “My Races” to find your event details.
  9. Share your digital number (on social networks by tagging our networks.
  10. Wait for more news in your email, our social networks and our website.
